Technical Account Manager

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

Job description:

Blue Technologies, Inc., a $50M locally-headquartered technology provider who is looking to aggressively grow to $100M, seeks a high-level and well-rounded Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our award-winning team.

Your responsibility as a TAM is to create a post-sale relationship with our current clients and manage the account. This includes, but not limited to, post sales calls, solution migration/client on-boarding, conducting regular business reviews and further sales into the account to broaden the existing relationship.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the TAM will be held accountable for the following

  • Retain and expand services in our current account base by facilitating meetings and initiative discussion sessions with current clients
  • Conduct periodic business reviews at the highest technical level within an organization
  • Respond to technical concerns and problems, ensuring smooth implementation and launch
  • Communicating and managing project work, open tickets, etc
  • Build and maintain long lasting client relationships
  • Assist with negotiating contracts and agreements that maximize profit
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with your assigned accounts
  • Properly identify client needs for appropriate technology solutions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience with IT application delivery, IT managed services, IT sales experience, or management in a technical field
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills
  • Great customer service
  • Detail oriented project management skills and organizations skills
  • Experience with cybersecurity, Microsoft Office, and Servers, Networking infrastructure (firewalls/routers/switches), IT Security Best Practices,
  • Compassionate listener focused on solutions
  • A team player with high level of dedication and spirit of cooperation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with little or no supervision

Blue Technologies provides a competitive base salary with variable compensation based on experience level.
